1 dollar per mile one way, is fifty cents per mile round trip so no, 1.00 per mile one way is not enough to earn a decent living when you have to pay for insurance, upkeep, fuel and license fees, not to mention if you have a truck payment. I do my own recoveries and factor that cost into...
It is an automatic. It wont hold the truck from moving. The brake should hold it fine until it doesnt, but that would have to be your call. As for me, the chocks are easy to use and cheap insurance so why not?
I have a 2 5/16" ball/pintle combination rated at 16,000 lbs. and it works with all of the lunette hitch trailers I have ever pulled, (which is quite a lot) both civilian and military.
Make sure you have your up to date registration and proof of insurance card. You will have to register your vehicle at the visitor center to get on base. They will also do an NCIC background check on you before they issue a pass.
Yes to both. The invoice should work for the bill of sale and a description of the item with the serial number or vin will be on the invoice. I have used the invoices for several trailers I bought out of Ohio to title them here in Indiana.
