    Seafoam Trans Tune

Just curious, has anyone used SeaFoam Trans Tune in the HMMWV transmission ? I am still waiting to pick my HMMWV up and as I'm new to HMMWV's I'd rather ask than make a big mistake. I see lots of videos of SeaFoam in Fuel, Engine and Transmissions but not in a HMMWV, so has anyone tried it and...

    HMMWV Grounding Kit Install

Just to jump in, I bought 4awg welding wire, looking to make up harness from this stuff with copper ring terminals. Could have bought the pre made unit but like so many others I like to get dirty, best way to learn about what you are working on. 4awg may be too thick, will have to wait and see...

Help Needed - key switch install

Very easy, plug and play, just 3 wires. I put one in my M923A2 as soon as I got her. You will need to enlarge the hole a bit so the new keyed switch fits. Same sequence for start and shut down.

New to Steelsoldiers and pending EUC a HMMWV owner

I find shopping (also know as retail therapy) to be a good way to pass the time, start picking up parts when you find them at a reasonable price, even if you don't need them now. I bought a number of parts for my 5 ton that I did not need at the time but over the last 2 years I have needed most...

98G, I'd love to hear what you find, mine is an '86 also, 2 door cargo/troop version, overhauled 09/04, sounds like they may have gone thru together. Please let me know what you find when you pick her up, I wont get my EUC for another couple months....at least.

    Anyone translate this

Good to hear, as far as I can tell she started life in 1986 (based on SN range, DoM is not readable on Data Tag in photo) so I assume she had a 6.2L engine installed originally, the overhaul tag show's an overhaul date of 09/2004, She now has a 6.5L GEP engine installed so hope it is a new...

    Anyone translate this

Excellent, thank you very much, so maybe I got a good one. I have heard good things about the Maine site as far as rebuilds. Mine has the 6.5L GEP engine, anyone know if they install new engines, rebuilt engines or take outs from other units ? Once she arrives I will have a better look at her...
