    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

Thanks for all your help. Everything is wired up and the truck runs great. I wasn’t expecting a project when I bought it, but it was fun getting her going.

    1088A1 Starter Problem

You are Man of the Hour! A few days ago I was about to give up on this project. After some troubleshooting with the relays per your suggestion, I drove that same truck through town, and it runs like a champ! No other outstanding electrical issues that I can see. It operates as it should. What a...

    1088A1 Starter Problem

Awesome! I’ll get to work on this in the morning. After I jumped the solenoid and let the engine run for about 20 minutes, the voltage gauge began to show a decrease. With the engine running, I put a meter to the 24v and 12v lugs on the PDP and noticed a decrease (23.5 and 11.9). Is this...

    1088A1 Starter Problem

No response from start button, same for the remote start switch. I jumped the auxiliary solenoid and it started right up. I've looked through older posts and found a lot of info that applies mostly to 1078. My M1088A1 has a the printed circuit PDP and the relay ID's are different. Can...

Truck won’t start and transmission pad not lighting up

Thanks very much! That gave me a place to start.

Truck won’t start and transmission pad not lighting up

My 8088A1 has an electrical issue. I flip the battery disconnect to ON and measure with a voltmeter the starter solenoid and the 12v and 24v posts on the PDP. All initially show full voltage, then slowly drops at .1 volts per second, bottoms out around 9.5v, meanwhile the batteries are full at...

Truck won’t start and transmission pad not lighting up

I may need mine tested. What about the PDP board?

Using FOIA to get truck info

I tried this for my MTVR and my Growler. Both came back with the same response, “that’s not our equipment (anymore) and we don’t keep records for things we don’t control.” Most recent attached.

    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

I’ve pretty much finished the dash harness. With the exception of the TL41 and TL42, everything is reconnected and looks good. Now comes the dumb(est) question....how do I start this thing? I hooked up all new batteries and am not getting any voltage readings inside the cab. I put the multimeter...

    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

I have two heavy cables, TL41 and TL42, that are listed as polarity protection. I assume they are ground cables. Is that correct?

    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

Yes, I have those schematics. I can ID what most of the connections are supposed to be. I may know what they are, but that doesn't tell me where they go. Like I know P99 is for chemical alarm, but I do not know what that is or where the wiring would be located, though I'm not too worried about...

Here are a few more stray connectors. I can’t find their counterparts, maybe I’m missing another harness.

If someone can point me to the appropriate TM, that would be very helpful

    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

I’d very much appreciate photos of the PDP connections, instrument panel connections and the aforementioned air lines. Photos or a diagram that shows which connector is for which gauge will be helpful. Photo of which wires connect to the air solenoid. Any and all photos of the connections behind...

    M1088A1 Spaghetti Monster

From what I can tell, it looks like most of everything is here. Running the harness behind the heater shouldn’t be too hard. I wasn’t sure if the wiper mechanism would share the space, but maybe so.

2002. The harness looks intact, thankfully! No cut wires and all the connectors seem to be in place and appear to match with the truck harness. Need to figure out how it goes in. I can't figure out how they even got it out without cutting anything.

Oh man! I’ll be untangling this mess for a while. Has anyone else been there, done that?
