    Synthetic should be your choice if your vehicle gets started and stopped a lot with little drive time. It is typically more stable to oxidation, etc. I use Blackstone.

    FYI: Rotation of rubber connector inside 12 pin trailer cord caused short

    Be aware that these rubber female and male connectors can rotate inside the barrel of the rubber casing. In my case, the 20 degree rotation caused a strong short with melting of a pin. I would use a permanent marker of some sort to mark where the edge of the rubber and metal barrel should...
