I just HAVE to ask what type of obstacles had to be overcome to tow that rascal with the wings on?? I've done LOTS of oversize/overweight towing.....but....gosh!!!:papabear:
It's an early (March) 1941 K18-C Commo truck. It is a two wheel drive "off the shelf" truck used to bridge the gap for mobile high power communications while the 4X4 trucks were being developed/built.
A friend of mine found this truck about 40 miles north of my position and told me about it...

Just want to share a few of my memories about Ron.
I honestly do not remember if I met Ron in person at the Georgia Military Vehicle Rally first or at one of Zout's cookouts first, but I do remember it took about five friggin minutes for him to get on my nerves!! THEN we had a talk, hugged it...
