I am runing 10, 11x20 xl tires. I like them. Plus it gives a total of 5 spares if I was in a bind. I have seen guys blow a tire and not have a spare on the truck and had to borrow a tire to get home.

Basically if nobody is going to be needing it to run their trailers i will just have my small gas burner to run shelter lights and charge phones. Just hate to pull it out there and burn the fuel for a few light strings and cell phones. But I am making some BIG changes to my distribution setup...

I just installed the TMamerica bracket and alternator set up. It is a nice setup. Direct bolt in bracket. I did use a long bolt for the hinge instead of 2 separate bolts. Well worth the money. About the same as a good take out used alternator.

I bought a load tester from harbor freight. I test them in my truck. Wish it did 24 volt to check the alternator but oh well.

What model of truck do you have? Also post up a picture, we like pictures, then we can tell what king of generator / alternator you have.

I installed my new alternator last night and the truck started right up after not running since December. It sounded soooooo sweet!!!!
