Cool. Thank you. So basically its like a shield for the gasket/extra gasket. Wow that's lots of boost. I am glad you didn't try that much boost on a stock 6.2, because I don't think the hood is strong enough to keep the heads inside the engine compartment at that pressure. Hehe Thanks

Radiator swap nightmare (well bad dream at the very least)

Good. How long did it take to get the power steering tight? Being a one man work crew it took me while. Tell him to post away its how you learn this site.

    No battery power.

That's probably what it is. The reason I asked about the batt post is because if it has side and top you might hook the cables to the side post to see if that helps. As the metal band that connects the two post could 1: be broken, or 2: corroded or (for lack of a better term) rusted in two. To...

    Cucvlover's m1008 the green machine.

One of the places I love to fish is a watershed lake. Then only way I can get in is down a 2 mile goat path through the woods. The road has been worked on in last couple months but at the time of this event it was muddy and had huge washed out ruts. So me and my dad are going fishing one day and...

So I had the truck for awhile and it was county fair time. What do they have at the fair? The truck pull!!!!!!. So I wanted to take my truck to the pull, so I called around to a couple parts places and found out how much major drive train parts cost so I would know what this pull could cost me...

Ok. Thanks. I figured a shackle flip in the rear and some more springs up front at least. You mean new k30 springs front and rear or just front? I'm not going for a crazy rock crawler just a little more clearance and a higher stance Thank you

Radiator swap nightmare (well bad dream at the very least)

Not to hijack but does the 09 have a trans cooler? If so won't the 2 quart filter rub the lines? It did in my 08 so I had to use the standard filter.

Radiator swap nightmare (well bad dream at the very least)

The new power steering belt didn't fit? Which part number did you use? Glad she is running good. So now you need to buy 2 gallons of 15w40 rotella t6 and a good filter. Also a get a quart of kerosene and a cheap quart oil to was the kerosene out of the pan. It should hold about 8quarts of...

I might put new shocks in the frot and rear that are coil over but they are made like ATV shocks where you adjust the spring to achieve lift.

It's time for another installment everyone. So I'm sure most of you remember going to get your drivers license. Well finally it was time for me to get mine. I was determined to take my truck to take the driving test, so after much scrambling I had it ready. (See above post) Well it was the...
