    M915a1 question on drain plug

I do know it is the larger and/or upper plug. A second hole is provided by the manufacturer (the lower one) for a temperature gauge which is not used. Will look at truck tomorrow for size. Most are 1/2" drive square but there are others.

    Have a quick question.

The tactical vehicles were diesels and have blackout lights, pintle hooks, 24v electrical systems if a military radio was in it and flat forest green paint. No stereo or AC. Your vehicle sounds like a TMP or commercial adminisgrative vehicle bought by DOD for whatever. No comparison with Dodge M...

    M747 Manual Needed

Ramps ? Didn't they come with the trailer ? I trust you arfe familiar with the section of the tm that deals with handling rigid frame loads as the book of lnowledge recommends they be winched on and off. This is because, unlike a tank which has a suspension system that helps it confirm to the...

    M747 Manual Needed

If you want to use the trailer for anything it will now be a trip to track down all the BII that goes with it. The TM should have an appendix that lists it all: shackles, curbing, chains, binders, and snatch blocks are all part of it. Iea 60 ton block has to weigh over a 100 pounds ( trailer...

    M51A2W/W help needed

Remember the I{ is timed to the engine. I have seen experienced and "trained" army mechanics have trouble putting it back on and keeping everything in time. Those guys also took the left front fender off to get room. Steering gear was also in the way.

    5 ton brush truck

Remember: 1. 1200 gallons of water weighs 10,00 pounds. You are up to the off road capacity of the truck before hose, tools, tanks, and pump are added. 2. Those 600 gallon military liquid storage tanks are not baffled. I understand the most common fire apparatus accident is tanker...

    -12* will the deuce start?

The reason the 2.5 and up tactical trucks have their batteries mounted in boxes with those cute double bolt line terminations was to facilitate taking the ba.tteries into a warm storage area if the whole truck couldn't and then the warm batteries would have enough energy the jolt that cold...
