This is cancer for military trucks. Who is behind this in California? Why are they doing this? Nobody has solid reasoning from officials as to why this is happening? Find it in the legislation. We need to find out. Freedom of information act. Head in the...
To get clearance for the elbows, all you have to do is remove the four long bolts and rotate that end 90 degrees. This will get the elbows out of the way. See my video. I'm not sure TS still carries this cylinder unfortunately. I found a similar one. Mine was $98 from amazon...
OMG Yes, It's a nightmare of tiny parts crammed into a tube AND the switch has cams and tiny plastic parts and micro springs. Honestly, having just done this recently, I would just replace it. While it does have contacts, the problem will likely be a failing piece of plastic.
I have not had a...
Beware of parts on Fleabay listed with vague descriptions with LMTV in title. Make sure that the military number of the part is listed and that you cross it. Most honest sellers will give you more info. People will put LMTV in the title just to attract attention and move drab green parts. Got...

Interesting. I was just working with some on my breakers too. The plastic cases are showing their age. Probably heat and UV light. I note one key difference between yours and mine. Yours has rust on it. Look for a leak above that panel. Gaskets on the running lights maybe.
Interesting.

The ceiling for being offended is infinite. People exploit this.
1000 reasons military vehicles should be honored and kept on the road:tank::
It is an honorable hobby to rebuild and keep such a vehicle
Most do not not travel over 60 mph
Represent a tiny fraction of vehicles on the road
Repurposing these vehicles saves the planet
It brings business to local...
Agree completely. These regulations move like cancer from state to state, yet no one has provided the source of the cancer. Who is behind these laws? We need an investigative reporter.
Would it be appropriate to start a GO FUND ME campaign for Colorado Military Vehicles to get back on the road ? I guess we would need a group dedicated to the cause first.
I just set up a automatic Legislative Bill search for the words "Military Vehicle" in TN. Any new bills with these words...
