Check the fuel tank for junk on the bottom. maybe hitting the rough road stirred the contamination into the fuel. See if the filters are dirty again.
I have an idea. How about using a clean fuel container (5 gallon or so) and just shove the fuel line into it. See how it does with clean...
They make one with 1/8" pipe thread on one end. I bought one from AMAZON to repair a missing one on a 14.00-20 rim. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0081TJO72/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I am gong to make one setup using this valve stem attached to a spare fuel tank cap.

That is another reason I upgraded to a spin-on filter. If you check my latest M820A2 thread you can see the replacement filter mod I did. Very cheap and effective. All my 5 ton trucks will have the same upgrade.
It took a few tries of pressurizing the fuel tank on my M820 to find the air leak on the hose going from the fuel filter to the IP. It was under the strap that holds the fuel hose to the frame. In my case we could not start the truck due to loss of suction. In your case it seams to be not...
Point well made sir. I do wonder if there are different forces applied tot the pins at the shackle mount than at the tow bar extension point. I am sure an engineer could shed some light on that. There is no twisting force applied at the extension but there might be a twist at the shackle...
If you have a medium tow bar I have an extra set of 3/4" feet I can sell you. $80 shipped Priority Mail. If you plan to tow a larger much heavier truck you will need a set of 1" feet. I do not have any spare 1" feet.
On mine the lug nuts that came with the spacers are used to attach the spacers to the trucks. You then use the old lug nuts to secure the rims to the spacers.
If I remember correctly I paid $500 for the lift kit installation. It was not a difficult job. Easy to do when you have a a lift...
I got a reducer from Tractor Supply in MS. They had it in the nut and bolt isle. Fit perfect. Using it for M715 tow bar feet so I can use the 3/4" feet along with it. I figure the 3/4" pins are plenty for a M715.
I had my mechanic install them after he did the lift kit so I never saw how much thread there was to grab. I think he would have told me if they were too short to use properly.
The spacers I got have their own studs built in. They have holes where the original studs go through and you attach them to the truck with lug nuts provided with the spacers. You thaen attach the rims to the spacers just like you would normally mount them. Picture attached. Came form well...
I managed to do mine with 4" lift and 2" spacers on the front wheels and no cutting. New springs in front and 4 inch lift blocks in rear. 4 new shocks. Adjustable drag link for the steering.
