Fixed a small leak with the brake light switch sensor and replaced the transmission top cover. Tomorrow I need to hook up the brake pedal spring and add gas; then try to start!! :beer:
Been a rough week! Coolant in---then leaks everywhere. :sad: Got that down to a super small drip that I can't pinpoint yet. Added Brake fluid, adjusted rear brakes, waiting for my power bleeder adapter for the Chevy master Cylinder. (should be here tomorrow) Adjusted the transfer case shift...
Actually, the plan for the truck is that it will be used for Toys for Tots during events here in Cheyenne. My wife is the Laramie County T4T coordinator.
Batteries and cables in. Installed a battery cutoff switch. Fording cables, speedometer, and wipers hooked up. Need to paint and install exhaust, bleed and adjust brakes, install air cleaner-then start it up!
Going to start on the M38 next. I got this engine out of a modified M38A1. It is originally from a MB. I took it all apart replaced gaskets ect. It ran really good. I am not sure I am going as crazy as I did on the M37.....
