Bruce
Yep, I just got off the phone with Bruce and he said the same thing. He gave me some pointers for flushing out the fuel system to wake the motor up.
Only time will tell. I have no experience with the 250s. I will get it home and hook up to another 5 ton and drag it around and see...
Uses
M1075,
I am purpose building a go-to recovery truck. I don't have anything but bobber deuces and I need a heavy tow rig to drag other treasures home. You of all people know how nasty Hooks can get!
The mid-axle power divider, air shift front axle and 5.81 gears will be a treat for...
Ahem...
Tent WITH a/c unit attached so you can swim out in the morning from condensation.... :cookoo:
Yes, I am still jealous and sulking. ;)

Thanks
Thanks for the thoughts. It is going in a M925 that already has the MT654CR Allison.
Either one (8.3 or 400) should bolt in. The 8.3 I have is currently sitting in an M931 truck so I know there are no clearance issues.
Here is the drama... I bought a set of factory air locking...
Thanks
What a great group of guys and gals. Andrew and I really had a great time. Except for the 42* night!
Sorry we bailed before the "lets-see-how-deep-this-mud-pit-is" operation. Happy winching...

Bruce et all...
Thanks for the info.
The bracket only has one mounting hole! I have not fully investigated this but I assume the bracket was able to pivot into the path of the fan. Perhaps two holes will prevent this. I don't know yet... gotta look at it closer this weekend.

Yup
I thought the same thing. At least here I have a full shop to take care of the drama. I had the rad out in about 2 hours. My rad guy will have it repaired by noon tomorrow. My critical path is the fan. I am going to check with Cat tomorrow and see if there is on in Houston.
I "may"...
I was getting ready to leave for my Peoria IL trip this morning and heard a BOOM! The fan killed the radiator!
There is a 1/4" air line that comes in the top of the shroud and is held by an Adel clamp on a bracket. The fan blades hit that clamp and broke.
I will post pics...

across chest
Hey I LIKE the across chest logo... makes my moobs look bigger. 8)
Thanks for the tan Tim. I think last years logo is good. No reason to spend extra money.
Need some money up front?
