Paul,
PM me prices on all 6. I know down in Cali, Colombia the 4s sell for about $3,000 USD new as of three months ago. The custom paint job on the yellow one is really interesting. Are you also selling the M36A2 as well?
Devin,
I don't. As a matter of fact SHE bought 'Storm for me as a birthday gift (we also had a very private birthday celebration too). She's been the driving force behind my obsession.
Bjorn,
It's a real treat seeing how you enjoy something I've seen in scrub brush being turned into high quality work. I've been following this project with keen interest. I'd love to see the finished truck someday.
Paul,
That 4F6 is soooo cool! Love the paint job! I like the 4's ever since "Romancing The Stone". I've never seen an F6 though. Now I want one! Let's see here.... I'll need another Deuce and the 4F6 to put in back. Now that's a plan!
Ok Everyone!,
The time is almost here! For those of you en route, if you see the below convoy do not think it's a military train. It's a sum of several months of hard work and preparation in moving to Houston. There will be several stops along the way to satisfy onlookers questions and...
Everyone,
I just topped off all tanks including the five gallon gerry can for a whopping 87 gallons @ $2.16/gal.. Next week is the grand experiment. I'll have stats on weight too.
Paul,
Unfortunately the format doesn't show the profile in your signature. Just go to the control panel and then to the signature to update. Sorry about the snafu.
Bryan,
take the Greenville US 60 connector exit. I believe it's the second one headed east. It's right by MM 48 or so. If you go up the gradual hill you missed the exit. Take the connector to US60 and backtrack east to the first stoplight. Make a right on (I think) KY 819. About four or so...
Bjorn,
Looks really nice! I would have noticed sooner if I wasn't working on mine all day long and doing a mini road trip to shake 'Storm down for next week's trip! BTW, is the crane mil spec or an adaption? The paint looks correct but it has a civy look to it. Could just be my eyes........
James,
Just like we say here, take Greyhound and leave driving to professionals. A truck like that is a beautiful thing when in the correct hands. I'd love an opportunity behind the wheel sometime! I've got just over 1.5 million miles experience, 11 years of it in intermodal, to back me up...
Everyone,
Thought you'd like to see how we modified our S-280 from the way we received it. Here are some pics to look at. The shelving was tough but the hanger side was the real challenge doing it all by myself and fighting the studs for balance. I can't wait to get the electrical stuff...
TF,
That's looking very nice! Can't wait to see the next set of pics! I'm looking to do something similar with 'Storm but include a few modifications and a new cab since the one on her now has some cancer in the cab mounts.
