What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Are you sure it was corn? It might have been something else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io30s7-5VaQ I didn't make the subtitles so don't blame me if its not good.

ok, I am officially a glutton for punishment. Bought another deuce off the gubmint.

I might catch some poopoo on this but that's OK. My dad told me something that his dad told him. He said if you have the means to buy something you want then go buy it, because one day you will be to old to enjoy it, and if the female in your life complains about it, put another one right next...

    Possible M1009 Daily Driver

A cucv is definitely a unique vehicle to drive. I would not trade mine for anything, they can be moody but sure are fun. I can tell you keep a few tools in it, along with some fuel lines, and a small inline filter that is 3/8 in and 1/4 out. That way if you have to you can bypass the stock box...

Please help me decide. M1028 with auto or 3spd granny?

For just out and about rocking up and down the block a auto is best. I have an old jeep I use off road (more like abuse) and it has a 3 spd manual, it is ok for just idling around the hills and hollers. But in the mud you better pick a high gear because you will wind out in a low gear. That's...

    Fender tire clearance options/ideas

Looks good actually. I would say 17 in wheels, and a 36-38, 12.50 tire, and a 6 in lift.

    tim292stro's M1009 (formerly math1960's)

Good work. I didn't know that they made a steering wheel puller. (I guess I never asked). I just used plenty of wd40 and a rubber hammer. It's not the best way but works.

    Good thing for hard tops!

You got luck. I'm looking for a duece and a hard top is a must. Pic of the tree?

    Terminus M1009

Cool install. The only difference in those two pictures I see is in one pic your fingers where over the lens, and in the other they are not.
