Just like stickers? My truck has a bunch of stickers on it and I haven't felt the speed increase. Also cucvrus, What is the big jug of blue stuff for? Thanks. Before I sway to far from topic (am I) I added a little color to the green machine, 2 American flags on the brush guard and 2 flags...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Cucvrus, I recently changed my lift pump on my truck, and I'm glad I didn't get a Korean one. I got my pump at Napa, and it was almost identical to the stock pump. How are you changing your pump so fast? I fought with mine for 6 hrs, in the 95*+ and ended up needing reenforcements. Also why...

    A2 self destruct system.

Thats cool. You should put a fake self destruct mech in the truck that just shocks anyone that doesn't know how to turn it off, ie; theif.

Air filter NAPA# FIL2096 (or 6096); Belt Gates# 7483; I gave the Napa guy that part number for the belt and got the right one. For the air filter I just asked for a 1986 Chevy k30 6.2 air filter. Also here is the cucv wiki so you can check for your self...

Tucson to Ft Bliss to OKC to Ft Riley to St Louis, and back.

Glad you got back on the road ok. I hope the truck is ok when you get some new batts. I figure that with the transfer case in N then both drive shafts should not be turning the final drive, so it shouldn't make miles. I could be wrong I'm not an expert on these trucks. Good luck

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

There is a little bit of the felt channel in the driver side door, the wiper and seals are basically gone. The metal things that hold the Felts are there but that's it.

how hard do you drive it

I hear ya guys. I know that these trucks are not, plush, fuzzy, eco friendly, hippie loving, hondas, but that's what makes them fun. I guess I just like cruising around in a old hunk of green iron, that drives like its about to chew up the road and spit out a new one. I do think that straight...
