Gas motor.. 12 volt .. & painless wiring harness

Your trucks, do them the way you want to. But you might consider keeping all the extra diesel/24v stuff, just for giggles.

    M101 side boards in fiberglass/plastic?

Stefan Wood Products. They make the fiberglass ones, and should have a 'kit' for the M101 with all the holes pre-drilled.

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Check both sides of the jack (inside and outside). You will probably find the 'other size' on the inside side. And a 24mm 12 point socket seems to work on either of the two sizes I've encountered.

MKT 90 FIELD KITCHEN finds a Sucker to take her home!!!!

Mark, That's what I've found too! About 3-4 hours to either open up or close up both of mine by myself, and that is with the side panels stowed. Makes for a long day. Goes faster with a crew of 6-10 at the GA Rally, esp. when a few have done it before.

The new EPA fuel cans suck!!!

New posters need to go back and read all the way through this thread. The answer to your problem lies there, if you are wise enough to heed it. Those who only want to complain, keep on trucking!

2015 Va Rally at Graves Mountain September 3-7

Cabell usually has the forms at the Denton Rally next month. He will probably post the thread about that same time.

    South Carolina New Guy

There's a rally in Denton, NC next month. Be there or be square! You will be able to get into vehicles and see if they fit you, and vice versa. Plus you will get to put some faces with names and maybe even find your dream MV!

My first ever fuel run in my new to me deuce and a half went well...at first. Ideas?

Cheap way is to make sure the front corner where the filler cap is, is the lowest point on the tank, then got a small siphon, stick it in the very bottom and pull stuff out till you have pure diesel and no water. Then change the filters. The first filter (on the passenger side, attached to the...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Yes, the griddle is aluminum, and you can cut and chip it. Do all your chopping elsewhere, and no knives on it either. That being said, it's actually quite forgiving of slightly less strenuous activities. Scraping with the appropriate tools (but not the pumice blocks) is fine.

    M274 pull start

I know someone who has the pull start, and he has had $110,000 of shoulder surgery to prove it.

I'm driving from Charlotte, NC to Groveport/Columbus/Dayton Area

Check with Gimpy, I've got some stuff up there that could use a ride south, and I can pick it up in Charlotte.

What have you done to your MKT this week???

I got something to go with my MKT today - my ServSafe Food Protection Manager's certification! Good for five years.

Goldneagle's M116A1 Generator Trailer restore and modification thread

When ferro gets my 116 trailer over here and we get the MEP-002A into the generator shed, I'll have some bows for sale (I'm putting a Contact Maintenance shell on it instead of the generator).

What have you done to your MKT this week???

I've not had a problem, mainly because the burners are very efficient about burning the diesel so there is no odor.

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

Nah, not today, yesterday it was raining. That info dropped into my lap because I'm on a radio forum.

    1941 K18-C GMC Recovered today

It's the first file on that page, page 24 (adobe page 27) and from the ruler in the lower right hand corner, the BC-325 is 32 inches wide and 66 inches tall. We can safely assume it is 12 to 16 inches deep, and the finish is a glossy black crinkle paint. As I find more details, I'll post back...

The big trip and a new MV.

If it has DOT3 in it don't change till you get it home! Dot 3 is fine if you are in the vehicle every day driving somewhere. But for most MV's, the DOT 5 does not attract moisture when they sit from month to month without going anywhere. 20-30 mile jaunts every week will keep DOT 3 OK. If you...
