Don't worry I'm not scrapping any. I'm collecting as many as I can. Last year I put contact maint beds on (2) 2010 Dodge 2500 to make work trucks out of them. Also I would like to add this statement. No CUCV's were harmed in the making of this project. (At least by me anyway).

Is the crossmember bent ? I have had lot of those. As far as the crached adapter: I would check the drive shaft to make sure it isn't bent. Even little dings can cause problems. Did the truck vibrate at 30 to 40 MPH ?
