Do you have boots on your front axle?
I'm sure you know sand is the worst thing for bearings and seals.
Oh as for the topic. I drove mine and the white smoke was gone. I do think I have a issue with fuel staying primed.
Its probably just a loose hose clamp.
Nope I'm not losing coolant. It was white with slight blue.
Its the only time its ever done it.
I figured its because I poured about a water bottle maybe more of diesel down the intake.
Thanks
This took a couple days.
I drove my cucv m1008 around the other day the fuel gauge said it had a 1 /4 tank (its been working properly). I started it 2 days ago and hit right off then went dead and wouldnt start back. I opened an enjector line and it was dry.
So put 10 gal of fresh diesel in it...
I like it but to much $.
I thought about the universal under dash kits off bayE bit the compressor becomes an issue.
So Im thinking about using a a big trolling motor, motor to power it. Yes it would get hot but your ac compresser does kick on off so just set up a thermocouple to turn it off...
Try removing the fuel line that goes from the tank to the lift pump, them hook up a section of fuel line to the the pump intake, stick the new line in a mike jug full of fuel. Then bleed the system and try to start. So if the fuel pump moves fuel it's not bad, if the bleeding procedure works...
OK. Sorry. For taking so long to reply. I haven't seen the nostalgic air bracket.
My plan was to just fit the compressor under the passenger side alt. I'd just mak my own brackets.
So now I have to decide if I want ac in my truck.
Hope this helps sorry again.
