You do not need the driver side alternator to be an original isolated ground(it gets grounded with a short wire).
I think you already understand this from your posts.
You know it's just fine when you do not agree with something but, you totally lack tact.
There is no reason to post such rude arrogant negativity all the time.
Your know it all attitude really shines through, so no need to spit on us idiots after you kicked us in the face.
Please tone it down...
Here's a source for new. http://www.texasindustrialelectric.com/starter_solenoids.asp
You need to properly adjust the throw on the solenoid.
I lost all my TMs on my computer, but there is a starter TM that explains all of this.
I suggest you take it to a professional shop for repair.

You will burn out the voltage regulator if you disconnect a battery cable while running.
Simply measure battery voltage before and after starting and compare to see if it is charging(higher when running).
After reading the other threads you have going on(most times it's much easier for us to follow if it's all in one "build thread"), I see you have had the transmission out and apart and have done something with your clutch.
Many things could be causing it to not turn over, besides a starter...
This whole thread is just "internet hearsay".
People need to take action, when it happens.
The internet is a good place to rant, but it rarely leads to a solution.
