I would think you would need a regulator of some kind, because the solar plug is only good for 12-28 VDC, and the way a solar panel works, without a regulator, you have no way to manage power input

So if you draw a straight line from the rear axle at the ground tire to the edge of the habitat, what's your departure angle, is that tail overhang going to restrict reasonable angle
