I think that's what Mission BBQ puts on all there A3's but I wonder how long they would last on pavement ? I drive my A3 almost every weekend and 99% of the time I'm on the pavement .
very good idea and that's probably true . wish I would have thought of that before I went in debit for that A3 wheel and tire ....I am still trying to figure what the best option is when I wear out the tread on the set I have now ...I would say there are at about 50% and I have got mixed reviews...
so I found a used rim and tire ....$400 plus $175 shipping ....these rims and tires must hold there value pretty good ....it does feel good to have a spare although I hope never to need it ...
truck is awesome......just goes to show lots of us that with time and lots of money and a great vision you can make your truck a masterpiece like this one .....Great Job !
thank you Valor ...makes since... so in your opinion its ok to flush with hose water until clean and then drain and use distilled water to mix with the coolant ?
engine coolant question on my A3 ....ok, I had a fuel line leak due to it rubbing against the air line so while I was fixing them both I had to remove a line going to the air compressor turns out its a coolant line and the muddy coolant ran out ...the coolant in the reservoir looks clean ...
I'm not far from Fort Lee and love to cruise around in my M35A3 usually on the weekend .....it would be cool to cruise with some other military vehicles.
I have a 545 and I have changed the transmission fluid and filters ... it seems to be doing fine except if I don't hold the peddle to the floor when speeding up the transmission jerks when going from 3rd to 4th ....any ideas about what could be going on ?
I'm in need of a spare tire and rim for my A3...but I can't afford to pay $500 for one, and I can't reposed to one person I see on the classified add on this site . I guess because I haven't been a member long ... can someone please give me some advice ?
I agree with rusty ....the first thing I did to my M35A3 was change the trans fluid and both trans filters.... i had to get used to how the transmission shifts , if I don't hold the pedal to the floor when its time for it to shift into 4th gear then the transmission jerks and makes a noise that...
im sure someone has installed a winch on a A3 that didn't come with one so im asking how can this be done without breaking the bank ? I know is probably answered in another thread somewhere but I have not figured out how to maximize SS yet .....I have learned a lot so far as this is my first...
I have been running about 45 lbs in my Michelin X 14.5 R 20 tires that came on the truck when I got it . I have no spare yet because of how much they cost so I want to get the most out the tires. Since this is my first MV I'm asking y'all to share your knowledge and experience on this ...Thank...
on my A3 the CTIS didn't work when I got it so I went to the local hardware and made it where each tire has a valve stem ...some don't like this idea but I'm happy with it . and my tires have some dry rot so I try to keep armor all on them and so far I have not noticed any further cracking
