thats about how mine were. i got em back and it was a night and day difference. the power it had when i got them back was unbelievable. i can peg my gauge at over 135% and it doesnt even phase the engine. before it would smoke and start to stall at 85-90%.
i went to my napa here and check just for the **** of it. i had to give the guy 2 days so he could dig. he could not get champion and he cross referenced the specs with all other brands and found nothing. since wellmen/dieselrx stopped making them seems like the ch42 is it. if im not mistaken...
just click the link below and it will take you to the classified ad for the linkage ends. this is not for the steel ball but for the nylon plastic end. i dont think your steel ball is worn. the plastic end wont wear that out.
definitely remove all 4 of them and have them gone through. i thought mine was running great too until jerry did them. when i got them back it was a totally different generator. there are 3 gaskets per injector you will need when you put them back in.
yeah i make the whole data plate and control panel kit. i am out of them right now but it only take a quick phone call to have more made. click the link below and it will take you to my classified ad.
oops nevermind. it looks like it was deleted or something. just send me a pm

it was njtoolnut but i dont think he is here anymore. your prob better off getting a 7/16 bolt and drilling the center out and making something up yourself. if you do find a source let us know. that thread size seems to be very uncommon.
how is the compression? if compression is low but not extremely low then the engine will fire off on the other cylinders and as the eng warms up a little the low cyl will eventually have enough heat to fire off and start kicking in. you can get new nozzles for the injectors if they are a bit...
well if something was goin on the last time you ran it and you were slowly starting to score the cylinders then you shut it down and now its extremely hard to start. just yank the heads and see whats goin on. its very easy to do.
as stated, you should check or remove the capacitors. the pumps also pickup their ground though the bracket and then the frame. be sure all that stuff has a good ground / continuity back to the batteries. there should be a negative cable from the batteries going to the ground stud under the...
