Im sure you are correct sir. The truck has been sitting idling and "charging dead batteries". As we know flat dead 6tl will NOT accept a charge in high amps like an alt. But the owner wanted to try it. He does run them hard and they must love it as they just keep runnin.
No worries about the rules man. You know them now and I assure you that you arent the first and wont be the last to make a mistake. There just happens to be some old crotchety farts on here. (**** kids get off my lawn!!!))).
I recommend buying one from a member here or one that someone on here...

Ok enough of that crap. (Capitalization rules) I recomend a 939 series truck. Big dumb and simple like me.
No i think those hinges you have above would be great. Having the ability to remove it would be nice. I just kept the welds where i can zip them off fast and easy.
Thank you sir. Very nice work and looks great. Im gonna have to steal your idea on speakers. My 925a1 is actually pretty quite inside so a couple decent speakers would be nice.
Could you put a roller on the one piece pin for the winch cable to ride on? In the rare instance that you would winch higher than the truck the roller would keep the cable off the bed and maybe help with a smooth wind?
Toby. Welding hardened steel is fine. Just keep your temps normalized by preheat post heat and controlled cool and it will be fine. If welded cold and allowed to cool the parent metal can migrate to the puddle causeing brittleness to the point cracking as if a standard weld were quenched...
Helped a buddy get his a2 shifter unstuck. That drive line was jammed up way tight. 2 gears engaged at once shifter slipped out of its notches. Got the tower fixed then brass hammer the gears loose. No brocken teeth!!!!! Got lucky.
That truck is blowing huge amounts of oil out the exhaust...
