Rear piston appears slightly melted. What to do about it?

I'd replace the piston to avoid any future issues. You already have the engine partially apart.

can't find it. m16 rack placement

I wonder if you could use the dual rack from the deuces and 5 tons. Maybe use some steel and make a rack that bolts to the floor.

I hurt, from the tips of my fingers to the ends of my toes.

Deuce are a bunch of fun. Congrats on owning one. On the bright side your new deuce ran like a top. Two tires, a broken Jack and an alternator are small potatos compared to having a wrecker tow your deuce.

    No Thru Trucks signs

No thru trucks usually means that you can't use the road as a short cut, etc. If you are driving down the roads to get to your house then you are not a thru truck. You are going to a local destination. I do agree you should ask someone just to make sure everything is in order.

    M1A2 Abrams RC 1:16 Scale

I have an Abrams about that size that I got off Ebay five or more years ago. The rubber tracks are the weak point. They break easily, especially when turning. Maybe the one in the original post is better.
