    2011 Mid Ohio show

I have an extra 8" snatch block and some tire chains that are too big for my deuce. Two new about 9' long, 13 cross chains, 19" wide (11.00 x 20). If all else fails, I'll cut them down but I thought someone might need them the way they are. I may have a couple xtra 20' slave cables with NATO...

    Deuce ladder question

I don't know if he sold them all or not, I bought a nice aluminum ladder from DOCFARMAL at the Findlay show. It has tabs that drop into corresponding slots in the tailgate. It also has holes for the handrails which could be bent from EMT conduit. It is light weight, loads in and out of the truck...

    Bolts all over my body...

From here they appear to be sheet metal expansion anchors. I have been able to start a long bolt in the threads, hit the bolt head sharply with a hammer to expand the socket, then grind or saw the head off. Be careful, you will leave a pretty good dimple in the sheet metal. The nut insert...

anyone have any experience with whit owl's 6.2l engines?

I have seen several 6.2 engines in my area for about $300.00. All supposedly " ran when pulled." Sound like you already have a good set of heads, starter, alts, IP, etc. Check the classifieds often.

I plan to bring my M1008, no show piece but I did install a new cargo cover this week-end. I'm not into selling stuff, but I do have a bad habit of buying more things I don't really need. I'll be arriving Friday afternoon and staying through Saturday. It will be good to see the faces that go...

    Winch cable lube

I use open gear and cable lubricant. It is available at most industrial suppliers and some auto and farm centers in aerosol cans. It soaks into the cable, leaves a good coating on the outside, and gets that wonderful grease spot on your clothes every time you brush against it.

Got my deuce! and got it stuck within 30 minutes of picking it up LOL

Note: The TM says 200' of 1/2" wire rope. It does seem to start a lengthy and sometimes aggressive discussion here if you ask about alternate spooling material. Some MV modifications are readily accepted, others seemed to be frowned upon. Good quality wire rope is not cheap, You can...
