I'm looking for deuce boarding ladder, landing leg for a bantam 1/4 ton, (MV version is fine), 1/2" wire rope wedge socket, and by then probably some other stuff.

I use open gear and cable lubricant. It is available at most industrial suppliers and some auto and farm centers in aerosol cans. It soaks into the cable, leaves a good coating on the outside, and gets that wonderful grease spot on your clothes every time you brush against it.

Note: The TM says 200' of 1/2" wire rope. It does seem to start a lengthy and sometimes aggressive discussion here if you ask about alternate spooling material. Some MV modifications are readily accepted, others seemed to be frowned upon. Good quality wire rope is not cheap, You can...
