Hi, Thanks for the reply on the M931 tire rack. I moved a civilian dry van that had a king pin set way back and got into the tire rack and bent it up and bent the corner of the van up also. I put an adjustable 5th wheel on it after that. Do you know what you want for the tire rack? What part...

I have what I believe is everything loose and have the red alignment mark like one on the pictures at the first of this thread which is just to the left of the casting pointer mark. Or should it be just below the casting mark pointer? I didn't want to exert to much force on trying to remove it...
From what I could tell the part numbers were for the front axle and good future reference. The seals I need are for the rear differentials. I believe they would be different.
Thanks, Bob
I have a M931A2 and have differential oil coming out between the tires and on the backside of inner tire on the forward rear differential . I assume that the seal has gone bad. Does anyone know what the part number or numbers to fix this? Thanks, Bob
What is the best way you have found to get the engine rotated to get the timing marks in the HH lined up to pull it? Can you do it by bumping the engine or ?? Are there any external timing marks like on a gas engine harmonic balancer /timing cover to accomplish that or not? In the post I saw...
Hi,
I got back to the farm and unplugged the pump and put the wooden dowel in the center hole of the HH and had my friend crank it over. The dowel did not move but a small amount of fuel came out around the dowel while being cranked. What does the dowel not moving indicate? Thanks, Bob
Hi,
I removed the plug from the center of the HH. When I look down into it I see a hole 1/16- 1/8" in the center. I put a @3/8" wood dowel that I had at the house. I had a friend crank the engine over. Before even starting to crank it when the on/off switch was on diesel comes pumping out of...
This is on a M35a2
Hi, I am having what appears to be an issue with the IP on my M35A2. I parked the truck and came back a week later to start it and it would not start. Electric fuel pump runs. The truck was running flawlessly up to this point. I had pulled the cover off the shutoff and...
Hi,
I did not see a GVWR on any of the data plates. The definately are none on the doors and the doors look like they have been replaced at some point. If in filling out the SF97 is the any advantage to putting a higher or lower number in the GVWR spot on the form?
Does it then...

Bob
