Shipping costs are rediculous. That's why I decided to go this route. I'm more than happy to make a trip out there and help some brothers out at the same time.
Currently I have a 12' truck reserved. Out of that I only have half filled. But I can also upgrade to a bigger truck. I'm renting a...
I can pick up from Ohio, Ft. Riley or OKC
If you or anyone you know needs needs cargo picked up in Groveport, Lockbourne or Oklahoma City perhaps I can help get your stuff to you, if it's along my route. I'll start in Ohio, go to OKC. My destination is Central California. You can meet me, along...
Here's one I'm looking at right now. It's in Rancho Cucamunga.
Before I buy it, I need to know what it would cost and who might transport it. That's why I'm asking in a general way. I'd hate to buy something then find out it's going to cost a bundle to get it home.
Hi guys,
I'm considering buying a salvaged RV from Auto-bid-Masters. The RV would come from either: San Jose, Fresno or Rancho Cucamunga. It would have good tires and damage that would not stop it from being towed, using tow bars, rather than being put on a trailer, although if you have a...
I picked up my M934 a couple days ago in Kansas. I asked Valley Metals to help get it ready. They towed it out of Ft. Riley. Valley Metals is in Junction City (near Ft. Riley) and have a lot of experience with the M939 series trucks. They have several for sale and some extra parts. I asked to...
Hi 71DeuceAK. Good to hear from you. By June I should have something to show you and SLOrazersedge.
I'm just getting into this hobby. I've got a M934 in Junction City that i'll be picking up on Jan. 11th. I'm also bidding on a M932 A2 on Jan. 6th. If I win that bid, I'll take out the 8.3LT and...
Here's the link. It appears to show the 8.3 but there is no CTIS. I only paid 1500 for it. I'm hoping GP will give me another 825 A2 at that same price.
Item# 684881.
I bought a 925 A2 on Gov Planet and the tow truck driver found that it didn't have a 8.3L engine in it. He left it there. It does have a winch. The truck was in pretty bad shape. I was planning to part it out. I wanted the winch and engine for my 934.
Has anyone had this experience? What is GP...
I have lots...
My main frustration is finding folks who have good info on M934 van conversions into RVs. There was one that opened recently but no pics and no details.
Another question I have in is in regard to retrofitting a winch onto the front of an M934.
And I haven't even got my truck yet...lol
Since my last post I've learned a few things about California DMV requirements in regards to big deisel MVs.
You don't have to replace the engine if:
1. You can register it as a historic vehicle (but need to run it in parades from time to time).
2. You can register it as an RV (if you convert...
I'm a new member and need to catch up on a lot of information that is available here. In many cases the information is very old, goes back to 2007 or farther. Although this is still good information, it would be great if I could search for a particular word and filter by "newest" first.
Thanks,
Tom
