Bring your 6.0 to a real diesel shop. 99.99% of the time the EGR cooler failure will not blow the motor. The worst would be needing to deck the heads (unless one is cracked), EGR cooler delete and the cause to most 6.0 engine failures - oil cooler. Do you have gauges or scan tool? I prefer...
I am not bobbing the truck. Just a "too each there own" thing, I like the look with two rear axles. I cut the 14' bed down to about 10' 4". The bed will be approx. 2" behind the passender side tool box and 5th wheel air/electric connections and go just past the rear tires.
I'm in the middle of the same project with my 932a2. Got a 14' drop side bed from a fellow member here and cut it down. Just need to cut the bed's frame rails and do some welding.
Great project!
Put the batteries on charge out of the new arrival (M923a2) and hoping for the best. GL slaved the truck to load it onto the lowboy, when I got to the truck at my buddy's yard, the truck's battery switch was on and starter switch was in run. Batteries dead.

That is the color I think I want to paint my entire truck. Very nice work. thanks.
I disconnected all three in order to remove the intake pipe and none of them where 'wet'. Seems like the "gunk" was sucked in through the stack.
I know they are intake ports or vents but I was hoping someone had a diagram or something similar. I searched the TMs a bit and wasn't able to find...
Can you please identify the (3) ports in the intake stack?
I'm re-routing the intake stack from the outside of the cab corner to behind the cab because I've hit several trees in narrow trails and would like to protect the cap.
I pulled the stack and air filter-to-stack pipe and noticed the...
Started cutting the 14' drop side bed to fit the 932. First couple cuts made. Just did the drop sides and bed floor for now. Will make final measurements and make the second set of cuts then will finally cut the frame rails.
NJ MVC lists it as "Code 15". I researched it prior to going to my local MVC location but I didn't say anything to the lady. She asked me a few questions and I was sure to tell her I was not using this truck for business or "commercial" uses, it was only for "a weekend mud toy". She was VERY...
Depends on the Mfg. year if you can register it for QQ tags. Mine is registered as a commercial vehicle for non-commercial purposes, insured as a commercial vehicle because of the weight. The insurance company went by serial number/Mfg's weight, not actual weight. If you alter the vehicle...
