Dig this machine guys! Laffly V-15
I love ugly MV's!
This sucker has a transfer case with 4 outputs and 4 driveshafts, each one going to a 90 degree gearbox! Check out the link below for more pics!
(you might also like the rest of the pics ion that site too 8) )...
Sure j'es lemme know and tag on a price for your trouble too! :)
The little pump should be a mailable item too. Its pretty small, not much bigger than a camera or bar of soap.
Lonesome715, I just realized that I have eaten up a good sized chunk of you topic...I am sorry about that
I'll try to keep it in PM's from now on. S'cuse me and like I said please dont trouble yourself any, if its too much or you think it ill be trouble then dont worry about it, I still...
Tools for the fuel pump are as follows:
1 medium sized flat blade screwdriver
1 10mm box and open end wrench
Two screws at the top, two 10mm bolts at the middle. The 3 lines plumbed into the pump can be hacked off. if desired the Banjo bolts can be removed (I just recommend hacking them off)...
Here is a pic of the piping that comes out of the IP.
There are 6 injection lines that are only like 1/4" in diameter. If you can get a big set of pliers with wire cutters built in the it would be best to just cut the suckers a inch or so up and bend them down. That is a whole lot faster that...
I wanted to make sure you had everyting possible so guess what....I pulled the whole IP off again today! Really I had to anyway so I could repaint it so this killed two birds with one stone. :D
Here are some pics. There are only 4 13mm bolts that hold the IP to its cradle casting. Once all 6...
That'd be awfully cool if ya could! :D Dont trouble yourself though, I just hate seeing stuff like that get scrapped, especially when there are vehicles that need spares so badly!
The trucks pretty easy to maintain, you could do a complete rebuild with 4 wrenches, a small hammer, and a butter...
Re-plumbed the injection pump yesterday. All did not go well..... :x
I discovered that you cannot re-use the little aluminum sealing rings for Banjo fittings and especially not when you've mixed them all up from the connections they were originally on. I had several nice unstoppable...
Well you would probably not want a set like those....those are worn out!
That is a Praga PV3S, a very over engineered Czech manufactured truck. My truck, PLDvK 53/59 Jesterka is built on top of this chassis and running gear but still uses every mechanical system.
See my topic about it...
WOW! Thats allot if indeed the firetruck is hitching a ride.
I recently had a similar experience but I have to say it was uneventfull and the driver was most professional about it. Had my truck hauled back on a similar tandem axle dual wheel setup. He was carrying my truck and a fourwheeler and...
Yeah thats what I'm saying!!!! 8)
The parts I want are just for standby in case mine go KAPUT and if they're not using them.......what could it hurt?????
Vehicle parts are not restricted nor are they applicable to U.S. Munitions lists rules so if ya' could Lonesome715......then pretty...
Lonesome715....dude.....I need you to pull some parts for me! 8)
Sure wish you could....I just bet there are some PV3S's in there and I could sure use some extra Tatra 912-2 parts like spare oil filters, fuel canister, injection pump, etc... :D
Oh...also.....is the 20mm fully fuctional as in automatic or has it been convereted to semi or single shot?
Either way you have some paperwork, a tax, and background checks to do with BATF for that along with the vehicle. In either form it is still a DD and machinegun and if it's transferable...
I'd get the OT-90, it will be allot cheaper than the M113 or 114 and has all of the features that the U.S. vehicle has but is allot more user friendly, easier to work on, and in my opinion allot tougher. I found some BMP-1's (same thing) in Poland that are in primo almost new condition for...
