If you are planning on turning up the engine to get your truck up to 70mph, Be careful. It will probably explode! Bigger tires, higher gear sets in the axles maybe. From what I've learned these engines don't like to go over 2600 RPM. Course you could always give her a whirl and take pics or...
One last thing here. Think about this all. When you turn in a truck your front axle has a greater distance to travel. Correct? Yes. If you have the same ratio and you are in 4x4 and on snow or ice, when going straight there are no problems, while turning though your rear wheels want to push...
I totally agree with you on this RUSS81. I've had 2 fords with 4.11 back and 4.10 front. Definitely for steering. Don't want rear wheels pushing you on ice. So I don't know why people are disagreeing with you. I will say though that not all 4x4's where designed this way, but it's much...
What about installing the intercooler on the outside of the radiator? I'm sure you could fab up some sort of grill that would allow it to look better than an A3.
I'm sure you could find someone on here willing to trade you the turbo parts for the nonturbo parts. As for me, I'll keep my turbo, I love the sound of the whistler!
Wow guys, easy does it. Now I have another opinion of this show. Yes more publicity, more people interested, more parts being bought up, higher prices. Right now there are pretty good sources for parts, but how many of these parts are actually still being manufactured? Are there enough of us...
Find another truck or tell him to find the SF97. Buy one that's titled. MUCH easier. There are tons of great trucks out there for not too much money. Don't fall for the first one you see. $4,500 seems way too much for an untitled truck, espeacialy in that area.
Thanks for your service. I believe you found the right place for information. There are tons of ideas and mods on here, so you'll have plenty to do. Good luck.

Does high compression play a factor here? Seems to me the multi's have really high compression, and that would incur more stress on the rods. At high speeds it may just be too much. I think I'll slow mine down.
