Painted my
Truck today. Used Rapco 383 green and a HF HVLP gun. It is about a 20 foot paint job. Any closer and you will start seeing my errors. But I am happy with it, for being my first ever paint job!! see attached
Take the valve off and make sure the glass ball is clean and free of dirt. Make sure the line has no kinks and is open. Not sure if you can blow air through the line or not. But remove the fuel tank filler cap and try blowing low psi in the line.
Looks good to me, I kept making the whole bigger. I had three holes that I used a ten penny nail head to fill the whole. Just ground the nail head to fit the hole and weld around cut off and grind down.
Thanks for the info "stock mount" is the mounting bracket on the truck that the antenna base mounts on. I have seen these antenna's mounted on the alum poles as you say. Most antenna's in the range (118-136) seem to be about 22" long. Was hoping some one new of a longer whip type antenna...
Sorry for not making myself clear. I will mount it on my M1009 in the stock antenna mount. Would like stock military looking Whip antenna. Need not be OD. Will transmit also.
