Might be the rear springs sliding back and forth in the spring perch on the axle, I hear mine at slow sharp turns! There is alot of movement inthe rear tandems during sharp turns.

I got a truck that came from ft. meade, All the bows are metal and the stakes are fiberglass, I have never seen metal bows before!! I think i'll be keeping those for myself! They are dropside bows to boot!!!!
I think TNJ Murry might have the mounting plates. Or you could just make your own, I think joe young used to use the top plate and just make uprights out of small angle iron on the frame side, If you search for heater install on the site ,i think you will find pictures of joe's installation

Well you can buy a whole sheet of rubberized cork from Mcmaster=carr for 13 dollars and that is enough to make about a thousand inserts. I know thats what i did and i have no worries about leaks.
kublos surplus has them for $225 + shipping, I belive they are military rebuild's .
I have one that the bracket was cracked and then broke, I fixed it with JB Weld , Still holding! I have one that has a bad armature but the case is good.
when i pulled my new horn wire through, i attach the new wire to the old wire and as i pulled the old wire out it pulled the new wire in! It is much easier this way and your done with the job in 15 minutes!
I run mine all over the place, and since i run it on waste ATF it is cheap to drive!!
Yeah i went to trenton to get my plates, took longer to find a place to park, than it did to get the plates!
