    The new style switches suck. They are known to cause fires in wiring harnesses, and as you discovered, to go out when you need them to work. Toss it and put in the 3 lever. The coolness factor wears off very fast when you suddenly have no headlights when driving at night.

    Same 60 amp generator in the M998, M35A2, M800 series, M900 series and a bunch of others. Shop around.

    Red to pos terminal on one battery, black to neg terminal on the other battery, so you get the 24V. Read the Installation TM's.

    There are several length speaker wires, and 2-3 different length power cables. ALl have different NSN's.. The TM's will help you.

    And you need to check the chart that says what VAA is compatible with what model radio. While they may all LOOK the same, some VAA's don't wok with the older radios well. And while your at it, throw in a power amp with W2 cable.

    Ditch the 8 bolt rims and bias tires. Go with 12 bolts and radials. It will drive much better. What paperwork do you have with it? Looks pretty nice. All major parts are there.
