might I suggest that you go onto a Czech website www.armyburza.cz and maybe ask there ,it will also give you access to other Czech military surplus sites ,the Czechs some times are hung up on export licences but you never know who you might encounter on the net .

bought a VT 55 last January ,its a bit rough at the moment ,I also have just got an English translation of an East German instruction manual ,sold the 452 about 6 months
the best way to shut down the vehicle is but your foot under the accelerator and bring it back till the engine dies ,I would always leave the idle setting at 800 rpm
The closest you will come to an operators manual is one on the www.royalsignals.org.uk site they have to download is Operation Instructions for the P 123 radio system as used in most Soviet era vehicles tracked and wheeled

hello I have a UAZ 452 and 569 I am in Ireland ,while I think the replacement of all the new parts might be a bit OTT ,it will stand to you in the long term ,see if you can get the old bits or better still buy some strategic spares like brakes cylinders ,brake shoes/pad ,filters ,carb rebuild...
