    No Detroit locker in rear?

I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks going in reverse then dropping the truck into D to see if the rear will lock up and chirp the tires has a screw loose. You understand the amount of strain and pressure this puts on the running gear? Maybe for a professional drag car that is designed to do so, but...

    No Detroit locker in rear?

wait, drop it in D to see it lock? Your mechanic is dumb. Jack up the rear of the truck and rock one tire and see if the other side locks up or not. If it does, sweet, if not, it no longer functions.

    Deuce Purchase?

you live in the #1 state for licensing and titling anything. That's where all my friends used to license and title cars that were imported into the US but were not ever made for the streets in US.

2011 USS Torsk work weekend 9/30-10/2

I'm curious as to why they aren't allowed to engage the screws? I'd imagine a submarine is just like any historical ship that can be taken out no?

Article on Military Vehicle Licensing Requirements

not planning on putting the plates on my CUCV, but at Miramar, the CUCV's that stay on base that I've seen all have govt. plates... but they're the never expiring ones. I don't see a reason for the plates to expire... seems like another useless expense that our country doesn't need.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

big day. Took out a lot of aftermarket wiring that the PO did. Took off the aftermarket foglams and all of it's circuitry. bundled up the wiring for an aftermarket radio that is no longer present, then started wet sanding all of the old paint. It's awesome. I can start to see the original OD...

    plackard/sticker on front of M1009??

I was wondering if any of your trucks came with these on the front bumper. I did a few searches and couldn't find anything, let alone pictures. Is this what the front license plate would be referred as on base vehicles? Thank you

    picking up a M1009 Cucv

nice and easy. He met me at the train station and I looked over the truck, he showed me everything, we signed papers and went away. I stopped for some diesel and when I went to start back up the truck would just keep cranking, which was weird since when I first started the truck it went like it...
