I've tried several times to edit my signature, but it just tells me I have 19 too many lines of information, and won't let me delete, or add any other information. I'm not a computer wiz, so I'm relying on one of you guys to guide me in my lack of understanding - Thanks, AZ
Possibly a Marine Corps version (even though it has Army markings on it)Judging that off of the re-enforcements welded on both sides of extended upside down "U" bracket on both sides of the bed, I've only seen those on Marine trucks, all the trucks have the upside down "U" bracket but only the...
You will have to sand it down, just use a light touch as you'll only want to remove the high spots. I'd use a 400 grit sand paper on a sanding block to keep everything smooth and level. Make sure that paint has dried a few days before attempting any sanding, or you'll have a big mess on your...
Mrgior31513, Conratulations that is a beautiful M54A1 even has the winch, that or s similar M54A2 is my current dream truck, I'm glad for you, you'll enjoy fixing her up and then playing with her on and off-road. I used to run a modified M52A2 out in the desert (w/winch) you'll be amazed at what...
Clinto, It's so hard to tell from black and white photos, but there is/was a photo of new engine just installed in the frame at the White factory in one of my halftrack books, the engine was really dark, I just assumed it was that really dark "kind of" Navy grey that you see on old equipment...
I'm pretty sure the positive goes to the starter and there may be a smaller wire that goes to the alternator (should be the same as a M35 A2 Deuce-an-a-half) the negative should be ground to the frame and to the engine block if I remember correctly. Hope this helps.
Congratulations on your M35A2, Have a safe trip, check your brake fluid before you get into the mountains. There's lot's of places for coolant to leak from try to find it and fix it if you can. I had the Super Single 395s on my truck, in the hills I found it was necessary to drop the...
Well if you could make it resemble an actual gun truck used in the sand box, I think that would be cool, and kind of unique. I had a M52A2 Tractor that I put a 10' old civilian dump bed on behind the tool box, and spare tire carrier, (because it looked military-ish) looked good but still needed...
If you now have fuel up to your injection pump, get soldier B to crank the engine with the throttle pedal pushed fully to the floor while you undo the Fuel line feeding injector # 1, once you get fuel spray, tighten the fuel line nut shut, THEN, stop cranking, do this to all 6 injectors, I did...
