this engine is a standard civi engine, is the starter also? wouldn't a cat dealer have the parts?

there are a bunch of good clean A3 trucks at G/L right now, i would jump on them at the 5K price range. In a few months the gov't will be out.

a truck stop will have it, hooks to emergency gland hand to give you air to fill the tires.

i also bid on the trucks in Anchorage, but 10k+. for some reason i thought in Alaska they would be cheaper.

Turn CTIS off, air up tires manually, engine and trans are 15w-40, use the search function, these questions have been asked a lot. there are some ppl on here that will get real grumpy.

i used the rapco 383 carc replacement like most, looks good, sorry no good close up pick yet. 4 gallons to paint, frame, body, bed.....

its because it pertains to the A3, and no one cares about the A3 or its owners, that's why A3 owners have been ridiculed and ran of to www.m35a3.net

there are a bunch of used 3116 with well over 100K, i don't know of anyone with a M/F that has that high of mileage. That said, the 3116 is a civi motor that gets used every day, the M/F not so.

that is a 6 speed.....OK now we are getting somewhere. I know with all the A3 being bought other people are already working on replacing the transmission. I was trying to find the specs of this unit, most importantly length, but didn't have any luck. Now my neighbors will really think im nuts...

for some reason those didn't pop up the first time. Since the 3116 is a off the self civi engine I now realize that a lot of parts are had out in the local market, duh.aua Now how long will it take for someone to get one of the old buses and pull the tranny? It looks like you could buy a bus...
