no it won't lock from the outside but it can be locked and then the door closed. Keep your toolbox locked up with a coat hanger in there and you have a way to sorta secure the truck and a way to unlock it when the need arises. Worked for the first few months i had mine. Now i have upgraded a bit.

I would love to have the whole truck. All fixed up that thing could be really handy. With the paint the way it is and the hoe on the back it looks sorta like the mother of all tonka toys.
Think we may need to work on 2 fronts here skip, a southern and northern SS rally. Washington county is a loooong way from here. Then again we do have a bunch of maine members that might find that location to be convenient. For me personally i would need to focus a bit farther south. Still want...
Sounds like you are making real progress. That thing in 1st, low, low range sould really be a force to contend with. I can hardly wait to se the pics. What are we shooting for in terms of a completion date??? I wanna see this thing at a rally this summer.
Don't forget the 108, it has a transfercase PTO. Also has a govenor to keep the engine RPM constant regardless of load like the m49, although it is a gasser
I would but this computer is as slow as molasses going uphill in january and it would probably take 10 min. So untill i get around to fixing it...... just goodle aluminum oxide, its EXTREMEMLY common used as a sandblast media.
