I was there about 1 PM. I went to LAX to see if HomoDepot had any good deals on stuff.

The flat steel is 1/4" The slot is 1/2" deep and 1/4"wide The handle looks like it has a shaft and another piece over it that would "roll" as you spun the handle. I pulled it home with a pintle hitch with an adapter. I should have got the 12" adapter instead of the 8" one. I'll be getting new springs on the Xterra this Spring so that'll bump it up another 2". Pulled it 130 miles home with no problems.
