I know. I could care less about the lost leg as thinking someone hit it on the road and screwed something up.
I hope my problem has others give that sucker a good kick before they go down the road. Looking at what parts are left in the gearbox it looks like the c-clip on the end of the shaft...
Mine was $580 with taxes and 5% buyers premium. They tend to go higher up here as the Wisco National Guard takes really good care of their stuff. The tires are newer ones. The tarp is pretty good and it goes down the road straight.
The flat steel is 1/4"
The slot is 1/2" deep and 1/4"wide
The handle looks like it has a shaft and another piece over it that would "roll" as you spun the handle. Mine doesn't turn but PB Blaster would fix that I bet.
I didn't realize handles were in such great demand. I'd probably keep mine but...

The guts look like what would be in a civilian trailer leg from say...

I never thought this would fall out on the way home. The GL guy picked it up with the big forklift and bought it over to the...
I could swear when I picked it up yesterday and swung the front leg up that it had a round foot on the bottom of the leg. Unhooking it today I noticed there's just a square end of the square tube. Looked inside the tube and it looks like something slides in there but I don't see any hole to hold...
I pulled it home with a pintle hitch with an adapter. I should have got the 12" adapter instead of the 8" one. I'll be getting new springs on the Xterra this Spring so that'll bump it up another 2".
Pulled it 130 miles home with no problems.
