Is there a u-joint that is sold at the big box auto parts stores that will fix the Humvee? If so, are all the u-joints on the driveshafts the same size? For an oil change, will the standard 6.2 GM diesel filters from the civilian truck series fit? Thanks, Bryan

Dilvoy - good call on those questions you ask, short answer from me, I have no clue on any of that! haha. Those are the things I need to learn, and have never thought about. I wouldn't have guessed I would need to changed injectors, pump, etc... to run a few pounds of boost.

I do not have knowledge in this area.... but to compare a $6,000 upgrade to something that is probably $500 or less, is not in the same ballpark. Couple question I have on this, assuming you have everything sealed up, would getting a turbo muddy or underwater actually hurt it? Fully understand...

I'm looking at putting different wheels and tires on my Humvee. I know the bolt pattern is 8x6.5. Does anybody happen to know what year of civilian Chevy Trucks that correlates to? I feel like I see stuff in the mid 80's with that pattern, and also some stuff in the early 2000's.... Knowing...

I have actually turned up the pumps on mine. It did make a difference, but I'm wanting more, haha. I have a pretty decent ravine in the property I wheel around on, and before turning up the pump, the Humvee would just stall on the hill and do nothing. Didn't have the power to turn the wheels...

I'm guessing you are referring to kits for the 6.2 trucks or blazers, those won't work for the Humvee. AT least according to Banks they won't.
