A fairly safe assumption.
Now don't go...

Arsenal of Democracy MotorPool MVPA will be at Greenfield Village this weekend. This is another of the events that I had hoped to attend this year.
While pre registration was required to have your MV involved, the event as a spectator will still be amazing.
Someone better post afteraction pics...

The Michigan Museum of Military Transport Foundation will feature one of our member's beautiful M37 at this event. We really have a nice display planned and will be at the center of this 80 acre event. Several MVPA affilate members will also have their vehicles on display with us.

While perusing an infamous auction site, Something in the background caught my eye...............
I am well aware of the countless F350 4dr 4x4's and of yesteryears 4dr Dodges, would like to see more of this Chevy though
Found a '76 Ramcharger for slghtly less than scrap value!
My M884 serves as my plow truck / work truck.
It ain't easy backing an 18 ft car hauler without power steering either.
Got the power steering off it already and now we are Processing this ramcharger prior to the scrap yard monday...
A friend of mine in St Clair, MI. has a M1009 for plowing.
As he is a Classic Chevy car guy he knows his 12v small & big blocks very well.
Diesel & 24v, well that's different.
I have no 6.2 CUCV experience, but it's camo & he knows I have MV's.
yet I am over 3 hours away from his location.
He...
One of my deuces has a speedo that reads fast.
No GPS or pace car, I just know it won't do 60-65 mph at 2400 rpm on stock tires.
First I assumed that it had a speedo adapter for the 1100/20's,
so I swapped it with the one on my long bed with 1100R20's, as it reads slow with the bigger tires...
What was the first year for the hard top and
what was the first year for the spring ride driver seat?
I have a 69 that I am painting Vietnam era colors and am wondering if those two items were around then.
If not, anyone want to work out a trade, a correct soft top for a hard top?
Checked out this XM215 today.
Been sitting in this museum parking lot for a few years.
It was on CL for Just about scrap value.
Will need to be trailered or different tires put on to tow bar it.
Rear drive shafts have been removed, a bit rusty but pretty much complete.
Has the winch at home that...
As in the past years, parts get transferred, a nice way of saving on shipping.
A couple small items that I need are:
M35A2
a road draft (slobber) tube
master on / off switch
M880 troop seat brackets
Bigger:
M135 wheels
Might be picking up a set of bias ply wheels/tires.
Anyone know what they weigh?
8 bolt w/runflat/beadlocks and worn 36's
Would like to verify if the inserts are in them by weighing them

I have two M35A2's @ Selfridge ANGB (Mt Clemens, MI 48030

One has raised rear about 10' tall?
in about 3 weeks
pic of tall truck
Did a GL preview today, the GL trucks were mixed in with FMS hold trucks.
So I am methodically going from truck to truck with my note book.
and I walk up to my truck..........wait a minute my trucks at home!
yea it was hot & humid and I had sweat in my eyes. after the double take I realized...
I have two trucks two sets of troop seats
yet just 1 set of mounting brackets.
Granted I have M880's, while there are differences
I think the front 4 CUCV brackets could work on the M880
( I need 6 though)
This is becoming a difficult item to find for the ol Dodges
I have 2 trucks, two sets of troop seats but only one set of the clampsaua
Need the six brackets that bolt through the bed sides & hold the troop seats on.
for an M880 but I'll guess the CUCV ones would work.
Item #10 6 req'd
