Thank you for your replay. The hinging test say max. 0.02 inch. I'm fairly under this value (0.008 inches). I know that there are other threads discussing about this, but can be that original driveshafts are unbalanced after 15.000 miles? Or maybe a production failure?

Hello all.
I own a M1078 A0 from 1997, with the "D" sign on the VIN plate. The truck have now 15.000 miles on (7.000 by me) and have not really feelable vibrations, except somtimes the unbalanced tires. I have default gears, no high speed gears, but the detroit locker in back axle. All screws...
Hello.
Maybe a leaking tire valve? I had the same, but that was another story. I got a ECU from a M1088 with 90psi highway pressure. That was too much for 1 of the tire valve and vent out until tire was flat.

Hello!
Thank you Sir.
The problem is that the hole sistem is not single tire controlled, but there's only 1 pressure sensor under the dash. So if you want to control every single tire you need to rebuild all the system. In that chase I would think about using the hydraulik pistons on front axle...

Hello!
I am thinking about putting on a M1078 with the 3116 engine and 225hp the high speed gears and 3.07 ratio. But I am not sure about the loss of the 20% torque, if it's noticeable and have on steep / sandy terrain a negative impact on handling/performance.

Bought together with the tube, but after reading this thread I decide to switch to PTFE flexible hose.
in my opinion (but I am not a expert) the problem in this tube is the diffrent vibration produced from engine and air compressor. Even more if some...
Yesterday I change the steel pipe with a flexible one. When I loose the upper fitting I saw that the steel pipe was under tension, IMO because if you tight the fitting on the side of the governon the pipe tent to rotate versus the engine.
Maybe the mix of tension and vibration is the cause of...
