I have been working on my APC and have been looking at a lot of photos on the internet.
So i noticed that alot of the tanks, apc's and wheeled vehicles deployed in Iraq have these square framed, louvered looking pannels on their sides and/or rear.
The vehicles in the pics have them clearly...

Ok.....so I want to keep the tractor capabillity of my M818 but want a bed on it for sum tasks.....in other words "quik change"!
I'm thinking king-pin on the bottom of the bed to engage in the fifthwheel and two pins on each rear corner to slide it in to.....oh and some forklift slots to make...
Tried to mount my HEMMT Wheels on the front of my "new" M818.... just to notice that the wheel studs are to short because of the added thickness of the two-piece wheels.
Seems like I need to install longer studs.....is there a easier way to do this....looks like a lot of work to change...

So i bid on this nice looking M818 (with winch) on ebay. Everything looked great, good pics, 100% positive feedback seller with tons of transactions....
Sent my deposit and fired up the M920A1...
Ok...as requested....here are some ISX 600 installation pics. This turned out to be quite "interesting" since this is a electronic engine. The overall result made it well worth all the effort thought!
Oh....and it gets better fuel milage than the original NTC400!
