Well from your drawing you linked to both here and on the G.503 board it plainly shows the word fuse stud on the Alternator were the big black line goes to the starter. Might want to try there.

You don't really need the travel lock your using you need the yoke part of the UPA more then anything. Once the Yoke is attached to the UPA and the T&E mech. is on, the travel lock your using is useless.

I have plenty of OEM pintles. They have 2 groves. So they will work with both the M2 and M3 tripods and related mounts.
