Service TM gives the correct procedure for spring replacement. Fairly easy at least with the stock height springs in my experience. I’ve replaced (4) coil springs to date on the HMMWV platform.

Been there done that. Currently on my 3rd HMMWV and do all the work myself.
First one I drove from CO to WA in early spring. Multiple snowstorms, several days and lots of maintenance later arrived home 🏡 with a good story to tell.

New to me BFG Baja. 2017 date code no cracks. Static balanced out with 2oz surprisingly. New lug nuts and O ring. Zero leaks.
Yes, newer tires in plan just not immediately. Prior tire looked like the Grand Canyon between the tread blocks.

Related to running an 802a for backup coverage on the house. Installed a soft start on the heat pump today. I’m impressed on the reduction of inrush startup current. 82A to 30A so far.

I’ve been mulling upgrading to an inverter/battery backup with ATS.
Currently using my 802a with interlock a few times per year. That said the grid takes hits constantly here due to tree/wire interference.
Following TM I’ve turned the sag adjustment in clockwise 3/4 turn.
Note the adjustment does not like being turned in more than 1/4 turn at a time on mine.
Sag is now <3% under 85% load.
Seems pretty good for now 👍
