That is exactly what I did using that braided sheathing on my slave cable, I don't like that corrugated plastic stuff. I found some braiding that kinda looked like desert storm colors, I rewired my trailer with it and every time I walk by it I think its a snake!

So the way I understand this is the Dixon Valve part number 1740404C Male NPSM to Female NPTF fitting should fit the after market fuel filters listed in this thread but I need to use a 1/4 inch viton o-ring with the Dixon fitting. Is that right?

I have a 803 on a PU-798a trailer and I am trying to identify what this is in the picture and what is it used for. I searched the very long TM on the trailer but it was not mentioned. This is the route I went, I got a Hanney reel with 150 feet of cord and I use two types of junction boxes to use 120 voltage only. Works good for outdoor parties or if the family needs extension cord power during an outage

Found a gauge by the NSN number for $16.00 bucks, thanks Guyfang and Dav5 for the search help. Got the new gauge in and installed and I still had a problem. I removed the fuel sender and cleaned it up a reinstalled it and presto everything is working. Thanks to everyone here for the help!

An electrician friend of mine said he could drive one in by hand within 5 inches sticking out of the ground, I told him if he could I would kiss his a#$ in the middle of the street. He took a big gulp cup full of water and did just what he said, luckly I didm't have to pay up!

So where do you find an NOS gauge for that price? I search for stuff on the net and can't find much unless it's a military supplier and the are ridiculously priced! I never see anything on fleabay except whole units
