Have you checked and or replaced the thermostat? In doing the radiator flush, did you also flush out the engine block? Do you have a fan clutch on the cooling fan? If so, is the clutch in working order? What is the engine temp after making the 30 mile trip?
I have a buddy in Cape Coral. Talked to him yesterday, he didn't seem too concerned. He was taking his time putting up his storm shutters. Hopefully everything will be ok.

I didn't hear anything bad. Maybe you found the problem in that driveshaft. It might be worth it to pull the U joints out of it and install new ones. PM me if you need a second ear.
Started to take things apart thinking I would remove the turbo but the more I look at it the more I think I will break all the bolts attaching it to the manifold. That would be my luck so I would like to do it on the engine while running. Anyone have any advice/warnings/stories? :cool:
