What do you do while you are waiting for the state to make up its mind on titling military vehicles? Build a smaller version of the truck you are getting to pass the time!! Still need to make some decals with unit markings but other than that it is done.
I bought 2 of these models before...
If you only had 1 day to attend which day would you choose? I am visiting family about an hour away from the rally and only have 1 day to go to the rally.
Thanks
Mike
Glad I was able to make it out there today. Got to put names with faces!! My son said his favorite trucks were " the one that floats" and tow truck because it was like "mater"
Tim, I will probably get you to mail me my shirt when it comes in. Hope to be in my own truck next year.
Mike
I am still planning on attending. I got the chance to drive a 5 ton (Thanks TrailBoss!!!!!) and it has only made my wanting one worse!! Trying to get in as much overtime as I can so I can start seriously looking for a truck.
Mike
Thanks jeepsinker. If I do get something from Fort Polk I will definitely give you a call. Will you be at the rally? I would like to meet as any people as possible.
Mike
Tim, I do plan on being at the rally and meeting a lot of people and asking a lot of questions.
Trailboss, Sounds great. I am not sure about all the different models so I would like to see as many as I can. I do know that I want one with a canvas top on the back with bench seats as I would...
Thanks everyone.
Juanprado, I will have to do that. I would really like to look over some 5tons and meet some local guys. If possible I would like to ride in one to hear the noise and get a feel for it. By the way, my dad lived in metaire as a child on Nursery off of Canal.
Mike
Just found this site and I want a 5 ton so much more!!! I recently sold a MB/CJ2 mix to start my funding for my next "need" as I put it (wife says it is a serious want). I hope to be riding around this time next year. Until then I will soak up as much knowledge as I can.
Thanks
Mike Campbell
