I posted another picture showing the other end of the hose. Shown in that picture is the coolant reservoir over flow line. It is too small a diameter for that. I suspect it was an air line of some sort, but no clue what it's purpose was.
I will try to be careful and heat it up, and anneal it so not brittle, but breaking is a strong possibility.

The radiator shows some damage on the front of it. I don't think it leaks, but the fan belt was off of it when I got it an the water pump was not pumping as a result. The plastic reservoir on the top was empty. I have not run it much for that reason. The old...

Next question:
There is a mysterious plastic hose that is not connected to anything I can tell, any ideas what it is for.
The other end of the mystery hose. It runs behind the power steering fluid reservoir. It is not the overflow from the radiator as suggested, too...

I am planning to get some work done on the SEE this weekend. I have some questions I am hoping that you all might have some answers that so far I have not been able to find in the manuals. I decided to break up the questions to individual posts so that they don't get...
I got the dimensions of the key from a PM I sent.
Thanks to everyone especially Alpine44
in mm it translates to Center hole is 6 mm from bottom surface. Diameter of that section is 11 mm and that thicker section is about 17 mm long. Handle section diameter is 8 mm. There is a 5 mm long recess...
I not yet bought a master disconnect key from EI. They want 16.50 for the key and and nearly that to ship it. I figure I can manufacture one for less than $2 I have gotten by with out it till now, because once the SEE started it did not matter. Now that I am wading into the electrical issues, I...
That is similar to the stuff I bought after Speedwoble pointed me in the right direction. The main thing is GL-4 or lower. Below are the relevant posts from back around page 308.
It sounds like a good idea. Will have to see if I can get to it before snow flies. I don't have a garage tall enough to have the cab tipped indoors.

I ran a come-along over the roll bar and winched it up to get enough room for the ratcheting pole. The strap was added afterward as an additional safety measure. I did not try and lift with the ratchet strap / chain at all. Needed a sky hook, but I keep it with my board stretcher, and haven't...
Tilting the cab is not too hard, but not for the faint of heart. I don't think I would do it just to put on the V belts. There is a lot of work that I need to do replacing hoses and electrical lines. The oil pressure sending unit, going to pull the starter and have it gone through. And a lot of...
I don't know what you guys are complaining about. It is probably the easiest of the three to adjust it in and out.
You don't even have to lay down or anything.

I went out to measure mine, but it is in 3pt stance, so only about a foot off the ground. :)
Given that the army likes to keep everything the same as much as possible I am pretty sure it is the same as on duece and a half truck which is 31".
Speedwoble is a good guy, I should have done that. I have made my own brackets. If they don't work, out I will contact him.

I have decided to tip the cab on mine. I will let you know how it goes, but from the manual it doesn't look too bad, and I think it will save me in the long run.

I finally got the last of my SEE home today. There was a spare tire on the it when I bought it, but not when it arrived. Working with the shipper and GP they decided that it was not on the SEE when it left the Yard. Eddie from GP was great, and attached a spare to a pallet. It took a while to...
