Good save!
Most runaways are diesels running off its own oil supply. In this case, removing its fuel source stopped it, so I'm wondering if you experienced what Retiredwarhorses did?
On mine I just entered the year of manufacture on the SF97 as the same year they listed it as. I didn't have any issues.
I wonder why they're being picky on this one?
I know, its been frigid here the last few days. Hopefully the paperwork clears fast (doubt it) and I can get to work soon.
Maybe we'll see each other around at some shows or something?
Scored a 97 1097A2 on GP about 2 weeks ago. First time dealing with GP, so we'll see how that goes. Already have the EUC processed and sent to TSC, so fingers crossed it doesn't take too long (although we know how that goes)
It was listed as a non runner. Looks fairly complete for what it is...
That's a great idea! I like the added security, and it sure is beefy.
So the two studs seem to be fine for holding it in place? After thinking about it, it seems like they should be ok, as they're mounted to thick steel, with a locater ring in the center to help carry the weight of the rim.
Cool. I guess a haven't paid much attention to the differences in carriers. I was watching one that had a swing out fuel carrier. Looked out of place without the Jerry Can in it.
Just picked up this 1097A2, and it has this carrier on the back. It looks different from others I've seen. It doesn't have lowering capability like some I've seen. Looks beefy though.
I see only two studs to mount the wheel. Would you guys suggest adding additional studs? I'm a little...
Anyone here have any recent dealings with picking up stuff from Capac MI? I'm looking at a Humvee, and was just wondering how they are to deal with.
It's about a 14 hour drive for me, 1 way. Wanting to know what to expect when I get there. It would be my first time picking up something like...
Easy peasy. If you have a title already, just hand it to him with a bill of sale.
If it was already registered and without a title, all he would need is the current reg and to fill out an RMV-1 form to obtain a MA title.
Btw, if you wanna unload another Humvee hit me up ;)
